I n 2016 I bought an automatic Nissan Juke with 6,000 miles on the clock for £9,000. Two years and 22,000 miles later the car started rattling so I nervously drove it to my local garage in Cardiff.

They told me that the automatic transmission gearbox had failed and I should take it to a Nissan garage, which quoted me £7,000 to replace the gearbox. After some back and forth I managed to come to an agreement where I would pay the £1,118 labour costs while the Nissan garage would foot the bill for the part.

In July 2021 it broke down on a motorway slip road. The RAC recommended that I take it back to the Nissan garage which informed me that the new gearbox
